Custom Paper Posters provide an effective way to communicate large-format visual messages while offering a choice of paper materials to suit different design styles and applications. Full-colour printing allows businesses and designers to reproduce photographs, graphics, illustrations, logos, text, and promotional artwork.
With three paper options available, you can choose between the smooth printing surface of standard coated paper, the natural writing-friendly surface of standard uncoated paper, or the distinctive tactile appearance of natural textured paper.
What Are Paper Posters?
Paper Posters are printed posters produced on paper-based materials for advertising, promotions, events, retail displays, business communications, and other visual applications. They can be customised with full-colour artwork to create clear and engaging printed graphics.
Standard coated paper provides a smooth surface that is suitable for detailed full-colour printing and can be finished with matte or glossy lamination.
Standard uncoated paper, also known as bond paper, provides a more natural paper appearance and is available without lamination. Its uncoated surface can also be suitable when a more traditional paper feel is preferred.
Natural textured paper provides a distinctive tactile surface that can add character and a more premium or artistic appearance to the printed poster. This material is also available without lamination.

Paper Poster Material & Printing Options
Standard Coated Paper
Standard coated paper has a smooth surface that provides a consistent base for full-colour printing. It is suitable for photographs, detailed graphics, promotional artwork, and other designs where a clean printed appearance is important.
Matte or glossy lamination can be applied to standard coated paper for additional surface finishing options.
Standard Uncoated Paper (Bond Paper)
Standard uncoated paper, also known as bond paper, has a natural, non-coated surface with a traditional paper feel. It is suitable for posters where a simple and natural printed appearance is preferred.
Lamination is not available for standard uncoated paper.
Natural Textured Paper
Natural textured paper features a distinctive surface texture that provides additional tactile character to the finished poster. It can be used for artistic designs, premium communications, invitations, exhibitions, and other applications where the paper texture forms part of the overall visual presentation.
Lamination is not available for natural textured paper.

Paper Poster Lamination Options

Standard coated paper can also be produced without lamination when a non-laminated coated paper finish is preferred.
Matte Lamination
Matte lamination is available for standard coated paper only. It creates a smooth, low-reflection surface that provides a clean and professional appearance.
Glossy Lamination
Glossy lamination is available for standard coated paper only. It creates a bright and reflective surface that can enhance the visual impact of colours, photographs, and graphic elements.

Choosing the Right Paper Poster Material & Finish
| Material / Finish | Description | Recommended For |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Coated Paper | Smooth surface for detailed full-colour printing | Advertising, promotions, retail, and professional posters |
| Standard Uncoated Paper | Natural paper surface and traditional paper feel | Simple posters, informational materials, and natural-looking designs |
| Natural Textured Paper | Distinctive tactile surface | Artistic, premium, and creative poster applications |
| Matte Lamination | Smooth and low-reflection finish | Standard coated posters requiring a professional matte appearance |
| Glossy Lamination | Bright and reflective finish | Standard coated posters with colourful graphics and photographs |
| No Lamination | Retains the natural or original paper surface | All three paper options |
For a smooth and versatile poster with additional finishing choices, standard coated paper provides the most options. Standard uncoated paper is suitable for a more natural paper appearance, while natural textured paper is ideal when the tactile quality of the material is an important part of the design.
