Large Format Posters

Hiflex Poster Printing (PVC Vinyl)

This Poster Printing uses Hiflex PVC Vinyl, one of the most commonly used large-format printing materials for outdoor advertising in Vietnam. This is a flexible PVC-based material reinforced with a polyester fabric layer. This construction provides good strength, flexibility, and resistance to moisture, making it suitable for outdoor advertising applications. Hiflex posters are a practical choice when your display will be exposed to:

• Rain and moisture
• Sunlight
• Heat
• Changing outdoor weather conditions

The material is commonly used for outdoor banners, backdrops, billboards, construction site advertising, storefront promotions, and large-format displays installed on walls or metal frames. One of the main advantages of Hiflex is its durability and affordability. It is a cost-effective option when you need a large outdoor display that can withstand weather conditions.

However, Hiflex generally provides lower print quality than PP Vinyl. Images and fine details may appear less sharp, and colours may not be as vibrant as they are when printed on a smoother PP surface. For outdoor applications where durability and weather resistance are more important than maximum image quality, Hiflex printing is usually the better choice.

Plastic Paper Poster Printing (PP Vinyl)

Plastic Paper Poster Printing (PP Vinyl) is a popular option for indoor large format posters and displays where print quality is an important consideration. PP stands for polypropylene, a lightweight synthetic material commonly used for trade show graphics, event displays, banner stands, point-of-purchase (POP) advertising, promotional posters, and other display applications. PP provides a smooth printing surface that allows photographs, graphics, logos, and text to appear sharp and vibrant. Compared with Hiflex PVC Vinyl, PP generally offers better colour reproduction and image detail. PP is particularly suitable for:

• Indoor large format posters
• Retail displays
• Trade show graphics
• Exhibition posters
• Promotional displays
• Photography and artwork
• Product advertising
• Wall displays
• POP advertising

PP can also be used for certain short-term or sheltered outdoor applications. Adding a lamination layer provides additional surface protection and can improve its durability. PP should also be handled carefully. Avoid folding the material or keeping it bent for a long period, as this may leave visible creases or affect the appearance of the printed surface. A puncture or small cut can also cause PP material to tear more easily.

Hiflex Poster vs PP Poster: Which Material Should You Use for Large Format Posters?

Hiflex printing and PP printing are both widely used for large format advertising, but they are suited to different environments and applications. The main factors to consider are print quality, weather resistance, durability, and where the poster will be displayed.

Available Lamination Finish on Large Format Posters

Please be aware that the lamination finish can only be applied on posters printed using Plastic Paper material (PP), not applied to Hiflex posters.

Matte Lamination

Matte lamination produces an elegant, sophisticated finish. It also provides a softer, more natural look that makes it easier to read the printed piece. Matte lamination has a “velvety” texture that makes it pleasant to handle. It also softens the contrast of darker colors so that they don’t stand out quite as much.

Gloss Lamination

Gloss laminated flyers will achieve an eye-catching, more striking look, with the light shining of the gloss finishing, if that is what you are after. The colours of the flyer hold a deeper richness and the light will reflect off the cover. The gloss sheen offers a high impact and also more protection to the flyer itself which could be very useful depending on what you are wanting to use your particular flyer for.
